Our reservation was for 17:45, as we had a show to get to downtown by 20:00. Our drinks and entrees arrived at a reasonable time, but after those were cleared, we waited until 19:15 for our Mains! Yes, that's 90 minutes from our arrival time. We were so early, and there being only one other couple seated, (and we were four people), the kitchen was not rushed, so there was no excuse for this delay.
The entrees were delicious but tiny. The sea bass was beautiful and extremely delicious. The goat dish, on the other hand, was nothing special at all, and the portion was so tiny that it barely qualified as an entree, and certainly not a main. Four tablespoons in a small iron pot and nothing else - no rice, garnish, or anything.
Not sure if this had anything to do with it, but as we were tasting our entrees, a very (I mean VERY) strong smell of pot wafted thru the resto, and it was not from any of the diners. We laughed about getting a contact high. Never considered the kitchen staff could have been too stoned to cook our mains.
I would not take another chance on this place, being a visitor, but Montreal residents might want to try it and see if simply we were there on a difficult night.
