DeeDee Niyomkul, award-winning Chef/Owner of Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft continues her parents' (Charlie & Nan Niyomkul) legacy with Nan Thai Buckhead, creating innovative traditional Thai cuisine using modern methods that convey the essence and soul of Thailand in every bite.
Chef DeeDee's menu is meticulously crafted to provide a creative interplay of Thai tastes and textures, leading the diner on a gourmet tour of traditional Thai foods inspired by her upbringing.
Nan Thai Buckhead is DeeDee's homage to her parents, and will feature many favorites such as Kai Siam, Lamb Hung Lay, and Crispy Red Snapper - as well as her own signature dishes like Octopus Lemongrass Salad & Wagyu Beef Cheeks in Panang Curry.

    Great experience overall. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and food. They ran out of the curry soup which I was looking forward to but the mushroom ravioli was exquisite.

    I recently dined at Nan Fine Dining in Buckhead, and unfortunately, it was hands down the worst dining experience we’ve ever had. We were initially told we had been checked in, but my boyfriend and I sat and waited for 20 minutes before anyone seated us, while other couples who walked in after us were shown to their tables right away. When I went back to the hostess stand, she checked the list and claimed we had never been checked in. There was no genuine apology or attempt to make things right. Once we were finally seated, it took an extremely long time for our server to approach us. When she did, I requested the wine list, which took over 15 minutes to bring to the table. I then ordered a glass of Prosecco, but despite being part of the four-course dining experience, the wine didn’t arrive until the dessert was already on the table. I asked to speak with a manager, who turned out to be the same person who had failed to check us in earlier. His response was utterly patronizing, offering excuse after excuse. He mentioned it was their busiest night since COVID and asked us to be patient and understanding, but his tone only added to our frustration. In the end, they offered a mere $10 discount, which felt insulting given the poor service and lack of attention throughout the evening. Overall, this experience was disappointing on so many levels. From the check-in mix-up to the slow service and inadequate response from management, it was clear they were unprepared for the demands of the evening. I had high hopes for a special dining experience, but instead, we left feeling ignored and undervalued.

    Our meal was decent, a B or so. The service also was decent, a bit sporadic. However, the cost was extraordinarily excessive. Sorry we went for this reason. This isn't Bacchanalia!

    The service was unfortunately a hot mess. The servers brought our party of 4 the wrong entrees two separate times and eventually served 3 correct entrees, with the fourth one arriving half an hour later (two hours after sitting down ). Chef Dee Dee apologized profusely and comped our drinks, but the server was clueless and inattentive, which doesn’t play well given the price point. We won’t be returning to the Buckhead location.

    Delicious!! The sea bass with crab fried rice was perfect!! Rib eye special also divine. Crispy spring rolls were good but a little too much phyllo to filling ratio. They are definitely shareable. We totally enjoyed the experience.
