My friends and I have been going to Navou for years. Spent birthday there parties there and always had a good result and good food. Last night was not one of those nights! I don’t know what was the matter with the chef in the kitchen, but it took us an hour and a half to get our food. They have on the menu a cup or a bowl of soup we all got bowls of soup and we were supposed to get cups when we complain. They did not charge us bowl. It took another hour to get the food served. We were the first people in the bar area at the table for six people, and could not get good service. It was not the service fault. He tried very hard, including giving us dessert on the house. So my friends were not happy and they were six of us total. I use OpenTable for reservations so you’ll be able to track how many times I have been there in the last few years! We are sorry that we did not get good service and I don’t know what happened to the chef, but there were two bartenders and a server so maybe one of them could’ve gone in the kitchen and helped unfortunately they do not wish to go back there. Eye on the other hand do like their food and do like their service when it is good. It is very good.

My wife and I have been dining at the Nauvoo since it opened. It’s gone through some changes. This afternoon we had our Thanksgiving meal there. The decor is outstanding. The food was superb. The owner, Richard, and manager Michael have really brought the dining experience to a new level. My wife had the butternut squash soup followed by the pork chop (very tender) with mashed sweet potatoes. I had the lobster bisque, chicken with root vegetables. Delicious. The piece de resistance was the bananas foster. As good as any we’ve had in New Orleans. I had sorbet, tasty. Our server Madison was so sweet and helpful . This has and always will be our very special place to celebrate occasions and just go for a great meal. Bravo!

We enjoyed our dinner at Nauvoo. We were seated near the fireplace in the main dining room. It was a relaxed environment. Our server Maddie was polite, friendly and attentive.

From the moment we walked in everything was great! We were greeted warmly by Cheryl who went out of her way to make sure we had a table that would accommodate us. The food and service were excellent

Had a lovely experience celebrating a couple of birthdays in the cozy seating bar area. The staff were very personable, and the food and drinks were great! I love this time of year at Nauvoo. Fireplaces, soft lighting, and quaint decor make you feel like you’re in Colorado!
