Navadhanya first opened doors it doors in 2014 launched by cousins Krishna VijayKumar and Arun k Chandran with the vision to create a very different experience from traditional Indian restaurant food in Cambridge. The dishes have been perfected by experienced Indian chefs who have worked in top restaurants , including Michelin-starred London restaurants. Navadhanya is now highly ranked among the best restaurants in Cambridge and has also been honoured with a prestigious listing in the Michelin Guide. ''This former pub is home to a well-regarded restaurant with white decor and a contemporary look. Wonderful food in a lovely atmosphere. We had the seven course tasting menu and it was a great experience - beautifully presented with unusual flavour combinations that really worked! I would have given 5 stars for the service too, were it not for the fact we had to wait WAY too long for our coffee. It turned out that our (two) coffees were delayed by a large cocktail order from the private dining room. I guess they could do with another member of staff or simply train one of the waiters to make coffee.

We visit this wonderful restaurant about every two years when we visit Cambridge. It cannot be praised enough

We had the vegetarian tasting menu and flight of wines for my husband’s birthday celebration. It was amazing food served very attentively. The wines were a delight including one from India.

The manager seemed very moody when he greeted us and showed us to the table. However the table staff were very nice and the food was one of the best foods i’ve tasted in an Indian restaurant

Loved every aspect of the dining experience! Every dish was exceptional… and we ordered a LOT. 😂 Thank you for everything. Best Indian food I’ve had in all of Cambridge & London. Will absolutely return at every opportunity.

Food was just stunning as always. Very very busy so a longer time than normal for our food but worth the wait. Service dropped off as soon as our main course order arrived and we didn’t see anyone again despite trying until we paid which is a shame as we wanted to order more food (to take home!) and drink. We travel a good distance to come here as the food is so good.
