   We enjoyed a fabulous dinner that included a special cocktail, appetizer, entree and dessert, The menu offers a full variety of choices using high quality ingredients. The flavors and presentation of each course are exquisite. Both the duck and halibut entrees are delicious. We appreciated Rosa’s friendly, attentive service and look forward to our next opportunity to celebrate a special occasion.

   Delicious meal. Very happy with food, drink, and service. Would have gone back a 2nd night but closed on Mondays.

   The oyster appetizer and halibut were both delicious. As a party of three, we had fun with the smores for dessert!

   It’s our favorite neighborhood restaurant—an easy walk from home, with excellent food and service. It is very consistent, and we have never been disappointed, and we appreciate half-price wine on Wednesday. We always feel very welcome.

   They have a special 3 course menu available celebrating cherry blossom season. The tempura shrimp appetizer was delicious with 6 large pieces. The scallops with couscous and broccolini was very flavorful- delicious! Red velvet cake for dessert was light and lovely. I had a Cosmo in a beautiful fluted coupe - delicious. Service was great, not rushed - we come every time we are in DC and will come again!

   We had to change our dinner reservations last minute due to overbooking at the other restaurant. We have been to New Heights many times and they have never disappointed. This night was no different. Our waiter was new and while still in training he was amazing ... and so was the halibut. Thank you for saving our evening.

   We have had many delightful dinner experiences here. Not so tonight. The halibut was grossly overcooked and had to be sent back to the kitchen. Apologies followed from the server. Sadly, the replacement halibut also arrived overcooked…likely sitting under a heat lamp until the server retrieved it. The entree was voluntarily deducted from the bill. The dinner that was booked as a “celebration” won’t be repeated at New Heights.

   First thing to know is reservation dining is upstairs. We were here during peak cherry blossom season and had their cherry themed, 3 course meal. We started of with pork belly buns and shrimp tempura. Buns were delicious! Then we had beef tenderloin and scallops - both cooked perfectly! Sides of carrots and potatoes were not seasoned and cold. Broccolini was perfect, however! Dessert was cherry gelato and red velvet cake. Both were good. Spent $240 for 3 people - with sparkling water and 2 cokes.
