This lively steakhouse in the center of Buckhead has been voted “Best Steakhouse” 13 years, by Jezebel Magazine readers’. New York Prime has been a sought after hot spot for any night out, thanks to the lively bar and USDA prime-only menu. From barrel cut filets to top-of-the-line cooking techniques, every detail counts at this powerhouse, old-school steak joint, but what sets them apart further is their courtyard dining space and private room.     We eat here alot since quality is the best. Last night I ate the bone in rib eye which was especially good. We really like this restaurant.

    Wine was not available. Food entre was not available. Disappointing experience for a restaurant that bills itself as high end.

    Yes the meat quality is excellent. Service is refined yet there were flaws that for what you are paying there shouldn’t be (selection of glasses for certain beverages) Yet for me it’s not worth the extra 100$+ per person you end up paying vs for example in Houston’s (Hillstone Restaurant Group).

    Food was delicious, service was great but noise level almost ruined the meal. Loud music wasn't a great match for the ambience of the restaurant

    We sat in the bar area and it was so loud (I had to ask my husband to repeat himself several times) but that might have been because we visited on a Saturday and it was busy. I suggested if you go here, maybe do it on a weekday. The sides are very large, just share one with your partner lol. Also, if they offer a nice bread selection before your meal. My husband had the best steak EVER and wants to visit again when we are in ATL. However, I don’t eat red meat and ordered the salmon. Sadly, it was full of bones and i could only eat the edges. I would avoid the fish options due to the lack of preparation in bone removal. Final thoughts, it’s a must try in Atlanta, just stick with the beef!
