This lively steakhouse in the center of Buckhead has been voted “Best Steakhouse” 13 years, by Jezebel Magazine readers’. New York Prime has been a sought after hot spot for any night out, thanks to the lively bar and USDA prime-only menu. Our server Aarron was on point. It was out first time at the restaurant so he explained everything about the dishes we ordered and how everything was prepared. The dishes came out as described. We got the porterhouse and it has a good char and was cooked to the temperature we requested. We would get all the sides again - charred brussel sprouts, creamed corn, cheese mashed potatoes. The only item I would order differently is the cheesecake. I would leave off the strawberries.

Excellent dining experience. Our waiter Jeff was spot on for everything. Steak's were cooked to perfection. The bacon appetizer was fantastic. The onion straws were the best!

The food was very tasty. The only observation is that my husband and I ordered a 40-ounce steak and it seemed small because normally when we order individual portions for each of us it is the same size, but everything else was good.
