Great pub, love the new space. So much more room now there isn't the dingey pokies room. Menu has changed a bit and didn't have vegan cheese on the night we went. Hopefully sorted out for the next visit.

When booking non smoking be aware the smoking section in the beer garden is an invisible line between the tables. If you don't mind cigerette smoke wafting over your dinner then it's not a problem. The food was quick to come and decent pub food. Ordered via the QR code on the table. Drinks were purchased at the bar. Reasonably priced for Sydney pub prices. The pub has a good vibe and was generally a nice place to be. I just don't understand how they get away with having the smoking area mixed with a meals area.

Food took a while to arrive but that wasn't too bad. Food itself was okay. The big issue was that the music volume at the bingo was incredibly loud and we had to leave early to avoid hearing loss. The music was really unnecessarily loud and we won't be back unfortunately. We were looking forward to seeing Breko who has been a great host in the past at other venues.

Was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was! We were a group of 7 and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The thing that puts me off going back is how gross the toilets were upstairs. I’m not normally too fussy but these toilets could really use some TLC from a scrubbing brush and some fresh eucalyptus oil or similar!

Lovely balcony, good value wines, but terrible food at least the steak we ordered was poor quality and so chewy we couldn’t eat it. When mentioned to waitress there was zero cares given.

I had my 20th bday dinner at Newtown Hotel, really good food - it was quick! Would highly recommend to those who wanna have a good time - loved the atmosphere and lights.
