We chose to dine the day after Valentine’s Day to avoid the chaos but Next Bistro overbooked and no one was happy. The table next to us had their meals comped because their meals were cold. We were seated an hour after our arrival although we had a reservation, and no one would even take a drink order, neither at the bar or at our table for another 15 minutes. The wait staff and bartender were doing their best and it wasn’t their fault. The overbooking was ridiculous and I am sure they lost a lot of customers.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

Food was excellent, as always at Next Bistro in Colleyville. I have experienced enough Valentine's dinners in my life to know that the prices double and service for the first seating is rushed because they are trying to get you in and out before the next time slot arrives.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

Great service and good food at a quaint local restaurant. Great service was very appreciated by our party of 8. Really great service. Value, however, became a concern when I ordered the seafood sampler for $49. I was quite disappointed when my dish arrived with just a single scallop, a single (and not very large) tiger prawn and a relatively small portion of Chilean sea bass all placed on what seemed like just 3 spoonfuls of mash potatoe. My dish was good, but far from extraordinary and certainly not worthy of the $49 cost. The appetizers were good with the hi-lights being the pork belly (10/10) and the calamari (9/10). The brie was good but served too cold. The wild mushroom risotto was the hi-light of the evening. It was as good as I have ever tasted and it would, alone, warrant a return to NEXT. Lasagna was good and seafood pasta was was decent but somewhat bland. The greatest disappointment was the duck which was very difficult to eat and not plated properly. I’ve had duck many times and I’ve never had to use my hands to eat it. Very disappointing and a dish to be avoided. The grilled chicken, on the other hand, was a pleasant surprise. It was cooked to perfection and plated well. We gave this place a B overall but with its interesting and diverse menu, great service and occasionally extraordinary food, we will return.請問這對你有幫助嗎？
