Luxury takes root in the heart of Austin at Nido, bringing the charm of the area together with the culinary techniques of coastal Europe, all perched above Lady Bird Lake and the energetic cityscape.

Nido is located on the rooftop of The Loren at Lady Bird Lake - recently named by Conde Nast Traveller and Travel & Leisure Magazine as "one of the hottest hotel openings in the world." Nido nods to the surrounding and native Hill Country, giving diners a one-of-a-kind respite to experience worldly-travel through food. Nido’s selection of carefully crafted, seasonal menus are internationally-inspired with a focus on classical technique.

Reservations are available for inside the dining room and the dining tables in the bar. Lounge seating is available on a walk in basis in the bar and on the terrace for drinks and snacks.

    Nido was great for sunset drinks. They gave us a glass of sparking wine for our anniversary and wished us well. Very sweet. Great views. Great snacks. Awesome drinks.

    The ambience here is pretty hard to beat, specifically if you reserve an outdoor seat during sunset. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion on a nice weather day. The food is great, but you’re paying for the excellence, so what really gives Nido an edge is the ambience, particularly the outdoor seating and view of Town Lake & Downtown Austin. I went to celebrate an engagement and our waitress, KQ, treated us perfectly. She gave us complimentary champagne and made us feel celebrated.

    Bonito lugar, muy overrated El atún fue nuestra comida favorita 100/10 No me gustó que te cobraran sin preguntar el donativo para plantar árboles, se me hizo incensario.

    Ambiance was great. Absolutely love the views. Was difficult to find initially. Parking is an issue so you must valet. Drinks are A+ food is a bit over priced. Had better but the atmosphere, lighting all makes up for it

    Took forever to bring the food out , got there at 8pm , food was out past 10pm , the taste wasn’t as good either

    Holden was incredible!! He paired surprise wines for us with each course and had the best recommendations! We are local and will definitely be back. Get the ragu and pork… you won’t be disappointed.

    Wow! Sometimes places will overlook the brunch menu and go with the boring basics. Not this place! Creative and tasty options, outstanding service, beautiful space and best views of the city. We can’t wait to return for dinner (and brunch again)!

    Our server Carter was excellent and recommended some great appetizers. Overall a great place to celebrate NYE!

    Our waitress was amazing. I think her name was QK ( hopefully I didn't spell it wrong. ) she was friendly and patient in explaining menu. This is the 4th time we visited Nido this year, and we will keep coming back.

    The Ravioli includes only 3 little raviolis?? That was disappointing, lol, but everything else was good.. taste, ambiance, friendly service and valet, cool location with great view of downtown.
