Three waiters were ill and the staff explained ( after our waiting a long time) the reason for our 20 minute wait to be seated in an almost empty restaurant. We were given a cookie as an apology. Once seated the service was fine.

An old-fashioned place for the ladies-who-lunch. We Loved it, despite the high prices. Quality of food is excellent, and it was so quiet that the people at our table could actually hear one another!

I always love NM for a ladies' lunch. Service is impeccable. The warm broth and poppers we are welcomed with make a wonderful introduction to the restaurant. The ambiance is bland and the food menu somewhat limited. This has been a favorite of mine for many years.
