Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. The dining room takes you to traditional Japanese garden pavilions that were often used for ceremonies and rituals while overscale pendants made from shoji paper create the look of elongated, abstracted paper lanterns. Design language that is a continuation of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's imaginative and innovative culinary offerings celebrates nature and is integrated through the use of different wood tones

    Food quality was great, service was great, noise level was extremely high, due to loud DJ music. That’s the only part that wasn’t enjoyable. Couldn’t hear ourselves talking and couldn’t even hear the server talking to us.

    It’s just ok not over the top great. They drown the raw fish cold dishes with too much sauce, liquids. I was recently at the Nobu in Malibu. Much better than the one in Atlanta. The atmosphere in the Atl Nobu is stale and average. For the price, there are better sushi places. For example,.. NoriFish in Sandy Springs is much better and you will spend about half.

    It was our first time at Nobu Atlanta, and it did not disappoint!! The food was amazing and the service was perfect. The yellowtail Jalapeño was crazy good!! Couldn’t have asked for a better nite out with the wife!! Will definitely be back.

    Great experience! I really enjoyed my meal and recommend this restaurant to others. The crispy rice with avocado was the star of the show for me!

    Food is mediocre and overpriced. I am not coming back. Go at Nobu Atlanta if you want to impress someone or if your company is paying the bill. Overrated.

    The ambiance was inviting, and the sushi was amazing. Our waiter Caleb was very knowledgeable about the menu and explained the cold and hot sides of the menu. He was attentive and made our experience enjoyable. The oysters were delicious, and the variety sushi that they offered was incredible.
