My partner and I have visited many Nobu locations around the world, so we were excited to try this one—but unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations. As always, the food was outstanding, especially the yellowtail jalapeño sashimi and caviar taro, both of which were delicious and lived up to the high standards we’ve come to expect from Nobu. The quality was as fresh as ever, but unfortunately, everything else fell short.
Finding the restaurant was a challenge; we ended up wandering around the property for about 15 minutes before we finally located it. We arrived late to our reservation, ordered our drinks and appetizers right away, and then our sushi rolls. To our surprise, we waited an unreasonably long time for the food, and when it finally arrived, the sushi rolls came first, followed by the drinks, and then the appetizers. The whole experience felt disorganized, which was frustrating and unexpected.
Given the issues we encountered, I’d recommend waiting a few months before visiting this location—hopefully, they’ll have their processes figured out by then and will be able to deliver the seamless experience that other Nobu locations are known for.
