Located in the heart of the South 1st district, Nomade is a Yucatecan kitchen celebrating fresh coastal seafood, artisanal spices from Merida, and wood-fired cooking. From the team behind the South Congress favorite, Lucky Robot, Chef Jay and restaurateur Adam Weisberg share their experiences in the region and hope to transport you to the lush jungles of the Yucatán.

Heirloom masa, sustainably caught seafood, and artisanal spices are used to create traditional and contemporary Yucatecan dishes. Our bar features a collection of additive free agave spirits and an Latin inspired wine list. Additionally, we are a 100% gluten-free restaurant, seed oil free, and offer an extensive plant-based menu.

    Had a GREAT brunch! The service for our table of 11 was friendly and attentive. Our server did an incredible job and was super nice. Everyone loved the food, plus the whole restaurant is gluten free. Really cool brunch menu! The atmosphere was beautiful and we are so excited to come back and try more of the menu 🥰

    I liked the place. My mom is visiting the city and I decided to invite her to have breakfast here. It was a very good experience and we really liked the flavors. The service was also very good. I recommend it.

    Great food and awesome drinks! Would highly recommend Baalche, the confit duck and the Seta Panucho! I really appreciate them having plenty of vegetarian options since most of our party was vegetarian. We had an infant at the table and that staff was very accommodating and friendly throughout!

    We did the NYE chefs tasting and unfortunately it wasn't anything to write home about. Kind of a confusing medley of courses with subtle taste. With more coastal vibes I expected more zing/acidity. The shallots and the cocktails were the saving moments for the meal. Staff seemed flustered but maybe it was just an off night.

    The tasting menu was outstanding. The bar is limited to Mexican beers and mostly tequila drinks. Don’t expect to get your normal drink here unless it’s a margarita!

    One of my favorite lesser known restaurants in Austin. The atmosphere and overall experience is always a 10/10. I love taking people here for the first time!

    I've never had a single bad experience at Nomade -- the service is always excellent, food absolutely delicious/filling, and ambiance just lovely. The tres leches remains my favorite thing on the menu/favorite tres leches to date that I've found ANYWHERE! Their happy hour is also one of my favorites in the city -- both for good drinks, and discounts on great menu items. Nomade remains my top pick whenever friends want to go somewhere and they've never been, or when I just want a Paloma with tajin on a Tuesday evening.

    Our first experience at Nomade for dinner was outstanding. The ambiance, food, and service (our waiter Aldo was incredible), were all reasons why we will definitely be coming back!
