We booked a reservation, noting our anniversary. When we checked in my daughter told the hostess again that it was our anniversary and she said she would let the server know. There was never any mention of our anniversary. Nothing special was done to help celebrate. . We were very disappointed. Also, we have been there previously and this time the food was more mediocre.

Nonna was a great find for us. It has great food and service, so we go there when we are in the Thousand Oaks area.

The food the service in the ambience were nothing less than memorable. We had been here a year ago for the holidays and it was. The only unfortunate exception was the couple that was seated next to us midway through our meal. They were rude to the waitress, nasty, obnoxious, and loud - obviously drunk. Our waitress Kris couldn’t have been nicer and handled the situation professionally but I know she could see our displeasure. We live in Northern California, and purposely made reservations again for the holidays due to our prior visit. I’m not sure we will return again due to this experience.

Depending on where you sit, it can be loud. For example, inside by the bar there's live music. Outside on the patio it's much quitter. Beautiful ambiance, very good food, fairly expensive (but not shockingly so), and it was our anniversary so they gave us a dessert which was delicious and I'm not a dessert person.

This is our go to every year for our anniversary. Nothing on the menu disappoints. Everything we've ordered has been magnificent. The service is attentive and friendly. We won't wait another year to be back as we dine here every so often.

We have always had wonderful meals and experiences at Nonna's. Last night was no exception. The food was fabulous. The ambiance was warm and comforting. The wait staff, Heather and her support team, was absolutely amazing. They were continually looking in on us and meeting every need we had without asking and were never pushy. Fantastic evening! Thank you
