An indulgent mixture of our signature beer, Menabrea and smoked cheddar cheese our savoury fondue is accompanied by a delicious range of bite sized delights, including rosemary roasted potatoes, oregano and basil meatballs and smoked salmon babka. Our fondue is £72.00 for two people and is served from Sunday - Thursday 12-8pm and Fridays from 12-5.30pm, subject to availability. Unfortunately, we cannot cater to dietary requirements within this experience. Please note, bookings must be made 24 hours in advance and non-refundable pre-payment required.

Liked the place but we waited 15 minutes for a server and finally the very nice host placed our order. Kind of bad since the place was very quiet and there were two servers. Also disappointing that the are in a hotel but didn’t have the food menu. We wanted to order one of the platters and some caviar for the holidays and could not. The espresso martinis were great and that made up for a lot!

We arrived at The Nor Loft on Christmas day. We did not eat it was snacks only. We had two bottles of superb Champagne. The staff very exceptional and chatted to us we got some lovely photographs which one if the staff took for us. Overall, excellent place for us we always return.

Loved the food and drinks and cosy fires in this bar & restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food portions small and perhaps a bit overpriced expensive. Nothing negative about the location as its views are amazing.

Pre-orderd champagne and olives for the table as a surprise for my friends but nothing was there.waited at least fifteen minutes before champagne came to the table no olives. Had to keep on asking to order food and wine yet again took long time for the food to come to the table when the wine bottles appeared no one asked if this was the wine that we had ordered just put them on the table didn't open the wine for us just left us to open the bottles ourselves no one asked if we had enjoyed our food and afterwards got hit with a service charge which i am always happy to pay if I get good service but on this occasion no We have been to this venue many times before and really enjoyed it but on this occasion it was very disappointing .

Service was exceptionally slow. Waited half an hour for water to be topped up after asking. Waited 20 minutes for dishes to be cleared from the table when the waiter said he would come and do it. Service charge added on when the afternoon tea was pre paid! Food was nice but the service let down the experience.

4* is only because we were put at a table tucked round the corner with no ambiance which was disappointing. Never had food but wanted a rating

Great ambience with friendly staff ,for us it was a great way to start off our afternoon in Edinburgh - a group of 6 mixed company!!!
