3/5 Stars North Italia in Austin has a lovely atmosphere, but my experience was mixed. We started with the White Truffle Garlic Bread as an appetizer, which was the highlight of the meal—rich, flavorful, and perfectly baked. For drinks, we had Prosecco, which was crisp and refreshing. For the entrées, my wife tried the Squid Ink Tonnarelli with Shrimp, which she found interesting but not exceptional. I originally wanted the Chicken Parmesan, but unfortunately, they were out. I ended up with the Trottole Chicken Pesto, which was fine but lacked the wow factor I was hoping for. Overall, the food was decent, but not memorable enough to match the price or the hype. The limited menu availability was a bit disappointing, but the service was polite and prompt. Would I return? Maybe, but I’d hope for a better experience next time.

It was a very cute restaurant. The truffle cheesy garlic bread is the best Italian food appetizer I’ve ever had, and the drinks were really good.

The service was great. The food was delicious and the pasta is made in house. Everything tasted fresh from the bread to the salad. Very nice selections on the menu. Full bar. Nice ambiance. Overall good experience.

The experience was amazing! From the server to the drinks to the food, everything was spot on. The lighting and noise level was not too dim or too loud. I totally recommend.

Love the food but the service has been awful for years. It takes forever to get your food. I arrived for a 530pm reservation. We put drinks and 1 appetizer in immediately. Our server came back and took our entree order. We did not receive our entree until 648pm. We were a party of 5.
