Northshore Brasserie is a family owned, full-service restaurant and bar serving French Belgian cuisine in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere. Over the last decade, we have become a Knoxville favorite known for hearty delicious food, and outstanding service. For dinner, we specialize in Brasserie classics, such as: steak frites, mussels, roast chicken, fresh seafood, and handmade pastas. We also take advantage of local produce and meats to create in season specials. Our bar has a vibrant, unpretentious atmosphere where locals and out-of-towners gather to enjoy craft cocktails, Belgian beers, and a selection of wines from around the world.

Another nice evening and dinner at the Brasserie. Overall, a good experience especially due to our headwaiter/serverwho made the evening very nice. We were there for our anniversary and had requested our special table that ended up not being available. She took time to explain what had happened and for the rest of the evening was very attentive to our needs. Food wise, the only disappointment were the mussels that had not been cooked enough. It was no time though before I was brought a brand new steaming bowl of them. We especially appreciated the new drink and food menus. It had been quite a while since they had been updated.

The service was fabulous from the moment I walked in the door with my service dog to the table they provided which was out of the way! The wait staff was excellent. We never felt pressured or rushed. The food was delicious. An extraordinary experience! I will be back.

We had a wonderful meal with friends to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The mussels were amazing and all of our entrees were terrific. Our server Olivia was also wonderful.

Excellent as always. We had the butchers cut (hanger steak), muscles with the white wine sauce and ratatouille. It was the perfect meal for my wife and I to share. Great drinks and excellent service.

Everything is absolutely wonderful but it’s very noisy...can’t have a normal-voice conversation at the table. But that’s not why folks go there; they come for the excellent food and top-notch service. It’s the best restaurant in Knoxville and my favorite, in spite of the noise level.
