The menu, created by our award-winning chef, Robert Taylor, is based around fresh, locally sourced ingredients cooked on an open wood fired fire pit and served alongside classic and modern British dishes.
Our fire pit is located in an ‘open’ kitchen for you to watch our chefs cooking your meal with the associated ‘theatre’ of live fire cooking. Our butchery and vegetable preparation kitchens are also open for you to observe the preparation of the freshest meat cuts, locally caught fish and locally sourced vegetables and garnishes. Alongside our fantastic main menu we also have an Italian pizza oven and serve pizzas in our bar, garden or to takeaway
Guests may enjoy meals or drinks in our comfortable lounge bar with its dual-sided log burner lit daily during our colder months, or our Orangery located on the ground floor. For larger groups we also have several functions rooms upstairs which are perfect for any occasion.
