    As always, amazing service, food, and an overall experience not be missed! I'm very picky about my quality of seafood and normally go for a steak or chicken. Not here! Be adventurous! You will not be disappointed! Thanks to the entire staff! Service was greatly appreciated!

    We recently went to Oku to celebrate a family birthday! Had some appetizers, contains & entrees which were all delicious! Service was good, however, due to miscommunication, one of our group had to wait over 45 minutes to get her meal. The manager explained the miscommunication and made adjustment to our bill. Will continue to dine here.

    Some of the sushi on the chefs choice was near spoiled. Another several pieces were not cut correctly and were difficult to chew should have been tender cuts. The japanese Sake list was short and very expensive. I have been eating sushi and sashimi at many different places on the last 50 years and for the price and location this was one of the worse quality food experiences I’ve had. The salmon appetizer was awesome.. I don’t feel there is much value here. The service staff were also amazing!! It just fell short on the food and loud ambience. I certainly would not recommend.

    I’ve given O-Ku more 4-5 tries. They pack so many people in there that it is simply too crowded and loud. It’s expensive, the service is marginal, and I’m done with it. That’s sad too because I only live two blocks away. Tsunami is a better choice for downtown Greenville sushi.

    We tried multiple sushi rolls. The presentation was good. The size was good. However the flavor and fish was just ok. All of us in our group agreed there are at least 3 places in town with much better sushi.

    This was our first visit to the Greenville store. We have been to the Charlotte store numerous times. Overall, we had a very good experience but it did not start out well. Apparently they were a bit understaffed for a Sunday evening but once the wrinkles were ironed out, the evening was quite enjoyable. We are unrepentant sushi snobs and prefer more traditional items so we had to pick and choose to get what we wanted but the quality of the sushi was quite good. We were a bit taken aback to learn that hot sake was not available but that did not ruin the evening. We will definitely go back.
