O-Ku is one of our fav restaurants in Jax. Our daughter was home from college and it’s her absolute fav. We had an 8pm res, late for us b/c she just got home from college. We did not sit down at a table until 8:35/8:40. Someone at host stand bought us a drink for our delay which was nice. We were standing at end of bar and my drink was siting on bar and one of the bar tenders just dumped the drink without asking. I think they thought I was done? After that the server was nice but you could tell due to how crowded, he was overwhelmed. Dinner took hours. We had one app brought and it was 20-30 mins before anything else came. Like I said, one of our fav places but a really rough night with over all service.

The food was a delight, as well as my server Emily! I had to talk really loud because it was a bit loud but I definitely recommend it.

It was great from start to finish. It was our first time for our 1 year anniversary being married. They were able to squeeze us in the rooftop for dinner and they provided such a cute experience to the gifts, flowers, complementary champagne. It is on the pricier side , didn’t realize the menu is a sharable menu for like group settings and etc. but overall will be back.

Not only were the food and drinks amazing but the service provided was phenomenal. The employees truly go above and beyond which make the dining experience at O-Ku exceptional. Will be our new spot!!

We were shown directly to out table with a smile. Our waiter, Dustin, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpfully reviewed the menu with us. Dustin was attentive without being intrusive- we didn’t have to wait for our water be refilled or sit with empty dishes in front of us. The staff who brought our food were professional and knowledgeable as well. We didn’t feel rushed or neglected, as sometimes happens in busy restaurants! We would highly recommend the duck and the OSpoons (not the right name- bluefin tuna belly with uni and caviar with a truffle ponzu- incredible! Thank you Dustin, for making our evening special !
