    The food was horrible, the menu listed great stuff,however the delivery was not there. Had bar b Que shrimp and grits. It came out with tail on shrimp and a lake of bar b Que sauce laying on top of the grits. Also somehow the shrimp tails were ice cold but the shrimp was warm. It was just overall nasty.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ DO NOT SLEEP ON OAK 1831! From start to finish, Oak 1831 Kitchen & Bar absolutely delivered! The food was next-level incredible, the presentation was stunning, and the flavors? Unreal. I had the Steak & Pommes Frites, and it was cooked perfectly—tender, flavorful, and paired with crispy, delicious fries. My husband went for the BBQ Rib Plate, and let me tell you, those ribs were fall-off-the-bone smoky, juicy, and packed with flavor. The boys ordered the Beetroot Salmon and the Southern Ribeye (a massive 18 oz. cut), and both dishes were spot on—expertly prepared and bursting with taste. Beyond the food, the service was A+. Our server, Joseph, was phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. And hats off to Chef Erica for crafting such an outstanding menu and executing it to perfection. Another huge plus? Plenty of parking, so no hassle getting in and enjoying a top-notch meal. If you do anything, please do not sleep on Oak 1831! This place is the real deal, and we’ll definitely be back. Nicole

    Had to change our reservation to 8;30 they were very helpful in doing that. Everything was great.

    This place is always phenomenal!! We've been here on multiple occasions and have never had a bad experience. Our server (Shelby) was very polite to us and knowledgeable about the menu. Chef (Erica) made rounds to check the quality and accuracy of the food. She really knows her stuff! The food was, as always, SUPERB!

    The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good. I had steak frites. Steak was cooked properly, but was covered in a thick, gloopy, salty sauce. Fries were not cooked all the way through. Ordered peach handle for dessert and there was not one peach. Won’t be going back😞

    This restaurant is amazing. The food selections, staff and atmosphere are excellent. We were treated very nicely by our waitress, Paola, and everyone enjoyed their food.

    Checking in late at hotel and have only had breakfast there and was pleasantly surprised. I had the rib platter and the meat completely fell off the bone ! It came with collard greens, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese, and a pancake, which I thought was cute. My husband had the pork chops with succotash and he ate it ALL !!!

    I hate to leave bad reviews, but unfortunately after seeing some tasty looking food pictures and driving by this beautiful hotel with Christmas lights surrounding giant glass windows on the interstate, we decided to make a reservation and it did not live up to the hype. We also made this reservation for my wife’s birthday and added that into the information during our booking. We walked in to find an empty bar with slow service that directed us to the restaurant. Once we got there, the hostess was aware of our booking and seated us immediately (which was great) but we noticed there were only 2 other tables seated. My wife’s drink was made fairly quickly (martini) but my drink took almost 30min (whiskey sour) and was not brought to the table until my wife mentioned it to the waitress. She mentioned she was training someone and was sorry for the wait. We understood but the appetizers also took a little longer than they should have and the server that brought them out apologized for the wait and said that they were “slammed” - which was certainly not true unless it was room service or something because the restaurant was nearly empty… lol. We had the scallop appetizer and also the burnt end lettuce wrap appetizer and neither were great. We were hungry, so we ate it, but that’s about all I can say. Anyway, what was supposed to be a birthday dinner trying a fun, new, place in town 100% felt like a basic hotel dinner with below average service and we left without ordering entrees due to all of the above. We could tell that there were some struggles happening on the backend, so we hope that is fixed for future guests, because the atmosphere has potential and the marketing drew us in as locals that were not even staying in the hotel. However, we would not recommend this to anyone unfortunately :/
