This relatively new restaurant has good ratings from others, and indeed, the food we had was very good. However, the service, while friendly, was not up to the standards for the prices they are charging, which are quite high. This is a management/training issue. It's not the fault of the wait and bussing staff. Without going into too much detail that may not be particularly helpful, the service was just disorganized and awkward. The staff all seemed to have little to no experience. Silverware and sharing plates were awkwardly placed or not brought without prompting. No one brought us menus or took orders after we were seated for nearly 15 minutes. We had to ask for help me than once. With pasta dish prices starting in the $30+ dollar range and increasing to $50 with protein added, and cocktail prices at $19, and with the high quality and creative food that was being served, this shortfall in service is a shame. With proper training of the staff by an experienced head waiter, this can and should be relatively easily corrected. The noise level is also high, and there's no clear fix to that with the amount of tables they have, so this will likely not be as high end as restaurant as it strives to be, but it can be a very good one. For now, it's too inconsistent to merit a return anytime soon. It was worth trying, though, and to repeat and end on a positive note, the food was worth the trip.
