Our server was not good. He did not check on us for a long time and did not come back to get refills on water and ask if we wanted more drinks. Our food came out wrong and we had to ask the host to clear our plates and for the check because he kept not coming around. It’s tough because we love the place and the food tastes very good but the service was not up to the usual quality we’ve experienced before.

The noise level is high. Waiter could have been more aware, such as placing steak knives for our guests instead of me getting up to find him and ask for knives when dinner was served. We were there early the restaurant was busy but not crazy busy. Food was good, salmon delicious

A fun holiday dinner at the Oak bar. Festive crowd. We didn’t have many expectations other than to enjoy the ambience and one of Bostons iconic spots. Pleasently surprised by quality of food. Started with curry cauliflower dish for shared app. Octopus for main course was cooked perfectly. The bar was loud but honestly it was one of the reasons we went; to enjoy a pre Christmas vibe. Like anything it’s all about expectations

We had an amazing experience! We loved everything about our visit top to bottom. Couldn’t ask for a better backdrop to a lovely Christmas time lunch and phenomenal service and care!

The guy from the front desk is very nice grateful for us making an effort to call and reserve our table. But honestly, it’s upsetting to taste food that is not fresh. You can tell that the mussels they have cooked are all white in color. You don’t see any kind of orange freshness in the mussels that they have served. It’s our first time to go there because we wanted to taste their food I hope it’s not always like that. But we’re so unlucky that day. I hope they’ll improve their food.
