Literally the worst food I’ve ever had besides the bread. Here is my review left on yelp.
Ok so last time I came here I was beyond underwhelmed by the food besides the steak and dessert. This time being underwhelmed doesn't even describe. I would be rating one star but my server was nice and the bread was still good.
I ordered a half Caesar salad, a 6 ounce fillet and the beef tallow Frites. The salad was an insanely over dressed basic Caesar salad. Nothing special by any means. The beef tallow frites were ok, just beef tallow skinny fries lacking salt, the dipping sauce was the best part. And on to the biggest disappointment, the only reason I went here today instead of another high end steak house(which today I realized this is NOT a high end steak house at all as I went on a date last time and I paid this time and saw how cheap it was). I ordered my filet medium, it came medium rare asf. Whatever. But it was not seasoned almost at all!! And it was a terrible cut of meat. There were multiple thick blood vessel veins in it that I couldn't even cut through and a chunk of fat on it. It did have a nice sear and the steak sauce saved the few bites that were edible. All I wanted was a good steak today and I left with a stomach full of bread instead. They also sent me two complimentary items which i wish they didn't. The crab cake which was supposed to be spicy but had ZERO flavor, no spice and only tasted of canned crab meat. Disgusting. Then even worse, they sent the Mac n cheese which I'm not even joking tasted like the Mac n cheese in microwave dinners. With a velveeta/plasticy sauce texture that coated your mouth. So bad. Literally kraft is better than that.
Massive disappointment. My waiter was nice, he was friendly, chatty about the right things, very attentive and I tipped him almost half the price of the meal cause he was the best part of the experience besides their bread and butter. While I am pleased to know that service was good, I am absolutely disheartened to know that the food that you received was far below our standards. I have spoken with the chef team regarding your experience as we are working diligently to right our wrongs.
