    Table was super small. Drinks & food took a while to come out despite the restaurant not being busy. But food & drinks were good, but was there quite a while unexpectedly.

    We had a great experience tonight at Obon. Isaiah did an outstanding job with the pace of our meal and made us feel like valued customers during our entire visit. The food was delicious, and we love the location and ambiance at their Scottsdale location!

    We decided to try the crispy rice sampler trio. We do not recommend that dish as the rice was hard and chewy not chrispy. Our server was apparently new and did not know what he was doing. We sat for a very long time after we got our waters and every time after he would check in, we would wait again for a long time. Only partially would get what we ordered and dinner took a very long time. The manager was aware and came over and comped our meal. So overall the experience wasn’t great, but we definitely appreciated the customer service we received at the end. Vivian was in training and once she noticed our poor service she stepped up and took care of what items we were missing. She made up for what was a frustrating dinner.

    Food tasted decent, there might have been a staffing issue because our server came by maybe twice to get our drink order and disappeared. Bartender had to bring us our drinks and place our food order for us.

    I noted it was my sons 32nd b day. It was acknowledged at all by our waitress . Took the waitress 10 minutes to acknowledge us. The restaurant was virtually empty.Chicken was dry and tasteless. that was in the fried rice. The food was very subpar. Only 3 tables had patrons at 4:30. We waited 40 minutes for 3 dishes. The waitress only came by to take the order and then drop the check. This will be the last time ever going there. Absolutely not recommended.

    If you want the best Ramen in the city come here! Love this spot. It’s more of a casual vibe rather than fancy. If you want straight fancy go to the obon in paradise valley.
