The Ocean 44 menu is designed with fresh seafood and quality ingredients in mind. The Mastros provide ultra-grade seafood, salmon, lobster, crab, oysters and more. Much of the menu is served a la carte, letting each guest personalize their experience. Ocean 44 is seafood reinvented in a vibrant upscale atmosphere specializing in world-class seafood & great steaks. Different than anything we have done in the past, the fine dining atmosphere blends dramatic and intimate settings. We have dined at your sister restaurants. Dominick’s and Steak 48 and decided to try Ocean 44. Not sure why but it didn’t live up to the standards that we were expecting. Our waiter Juan was Great! Appetizers that we were able to get were supbar. Wood oven was broke so we are unable to order appetizers we really wanted. The food and everything was off yesterday.

The food was very good. The waiter didn't tell us what they were out of or not being able to get a section of menu due to broken seafood smoker so we had to regroup with our menu picks. The table next to us seated with a young previous employee or friend a number of staff young people greeted them and were very loud using very inappropriate language. Really put a damper on our nice dinner for sure.

Ocean 44 is our favorite restaurant and we like to have dinner at the bar. My only issue last night was zero adherence to a dress code. I realize AZ is casual in general, but in a fine dining restaurant we saw several ball caps, shorts & tennis shoes (as if right off the tennis court), etc. It was New Years Eve so most were dressed up. It is a special place, but last night looked like “reverse snobbism” at its worst.

We have been frequent diners at Steak 44 and love it but we have to say we love Ocean 44 MORE! Love the atmosphere, service and FOOD! Such great options and delicious. Had lobster rolls, salad, truffle fries, sea bass, branzino, corn brûlée, crispy onions and two fabulous desserts! The only thing we would not repeat was the crispy onions … everything else was fantastic! We will definitely be back!
