Great experience started with a kitchen view booth. The stellar service started with the descriptions of the favorite appetizers and dishes. It was super hard to make a choice but we did the wedge salad, 45 day bone-in ribeye, corn brûlée, au gratin potatoes, asparagus, vanilla cake, meatballs, filets, oysters Rockefeller and a mojito cocktail. WOW!!! John took excellent care of us. The vanilla cake was my clients choice since we were celebrating his birthday. Ever single thing was delicious! The water flowed, they followed up with drink orders in a timely manner. The bread was sinful. It is a gastrofeast!!

Excellent. From the greeting of the valet, the hostess, waiter, etc, everyone made us feel welcome. The menu had great choices for drinks, appetizers, salads, entrees, and sides We had Branzino, crab cakes , potatoes and crème brûlée corn. All were delicious with generous portions.

I’ll stick to steak 48. “Shells and cheese” taste like craft, hair on my plate, steak was under cooked even after I gave instructions.

Ambience was the best part of this restaurant. Food was okay. We tried various appetizers, salads and entrees between the 4 of us. I’d say the Caesar salad was the best item. But Nothing that would make me want to go and have again. Service was not in line with what you would expect given the prices. Worst rule is that they don’t allow you to go to the bar and get a cocktail while waiting for your table. They make you stand near the hostess stand and tell you a cocktail server will come. Never did. So we Walked to restaurant next door to wait. Should have just eaten dinner at that restaurant instead.

My third time to there. Love it. Great ribeye! Best in OC. Service awesome. Going back next week and week after with my friends.

Great experience, I only eat meat about 3 times a year and it was worth it. The service was great. Everyone was checking in, but not too much. The sides were great. Everything tasted amazing. They had a great whiskey list as well. We were recommended to come here by someone who frequently dines here. It did not disappoint. They even called me to see how the experience was. That doesn’t happen too often and it was pretty cool.

Amazing service from Edwin and all of the other staff we interacted with. The service and attention to detail was impeccable. Food was awesome and the extra touches for the birthday we were celebrating made the night very special. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing. Hats off to the staff at Ocean 48 for providing an amazing birthday dinner, highly recommend!
