Ocean Grill & Bar is in many ways a testimony to the bounty of the sea, the adaptability of creating wonderous dishes from the vast variety of life beneath the waves and the endless multitude of flavors created by cultures all across the world using all manner of natures riches to bring out the natural beauty of seafood. Chef Lea has lived and breathed Key West's very own bounty of delicious seafood for over 20 years. Winning many awards along the way for items like 'Butter Poached Florida lobster' and our signature dish 'Shrimp & Grits', he decided to give back much of what he has learned and create a largely seafood menu with flavors ranging from Cajun/Creole to the far East of Asia. An eclectic gathering of the finest ways to enjoy what we are blessed to have on our very own doorstep. You can find on our menu or Special's board local items like Florida Lobster, many varieties of local Seafood. Join us for a feast of seafood paired with a wonderful and relaxed atmosphere.

Lobster bisque was tasty but my seafood risotto had bad scallops that tasted and smelled of ammonia which told me they were off. I politely brought to the waiter’s attention who decided to debate with me they were good. I had 2 other table mates smell and concur but waiter and chef continued to argue. I barely ate any of the meal and refused to eat anything more and was still charged the overpriced $43 minus 15%. And my bonus was getting sick for 2 days. Sad as the restaurant was lovely and the menu creative but you can’t serve old or refrozen seafood. I will definitely mark this one off my list for returning.

We had a party of seven and everyone agreed it was one of our best meals in Key West. My husband said it was the best lobster he had in a while and I really enjoyed my fettuccine Alfredo. My son-in-law had the seafood Saffron risotto and said it was excellent. Everyone else is very pleased with their dinner and we will definitely be back. Oh, their Keylime pie was excellent as well!

Disappointing. Food was lukewarm and not worth the price. The wrong wine was served to two guests, which the restaurant did rectify once it was pointed out. Will not come back.

Got reservation on busy night off Duval Street. Food was good. Service good. Prices a little high as expected for that area.

They were out of olives and onions for martinis and also out of grouper which is one of entrees. We didn't learn about the grouper until we were about to order. Think they had had a busy day. Our server was very nice.
