The Ocean Grill is an open-air restaurant amidst the tropical foliage of South Beach, just steps away from the beach. Enjoy the refreshing breeze of the Atlantic Ocean or turn around and gaze at The Setai’s three infinity edge pools.

The Ocean Grill offers a Mediterranean-inspired lunch menu whose custom-built wood-fire grill gives each dish a rustic flare. Guests can enjoy a wide range of standout dishes including Spanish Octopus on the grill, Yellowfin Tuna Tartare, Mediterranean Branzino and the exotic White Truffle Pizza.

The new evening menu transports guests to summer nights on the Italian Riviera in our open-air, oceanfront restaurant featuring pastas, risottos, wood-grilled prime meats and fish.

The ceviche was really fresh and the Cesar salad was loaded with dressing and cheese!! Delicious!! The salmon was a huge chuck and was perfectly cooked. Great place to drink and eat! Sea breeze is nice!

the portions were weird. Food was fine, not outstanding but the experience was out of this world. The ambiance was incredible. I ordered scallops and shrimp and for a main course, it was $42, 2 small scallops and 2 large shrimp.. it felt like an appetizer. I was disappointed and they removed it from my bill, and topped off my wine for free. Service was good… but they were definitely turning tables, dropping the food while apps were still there. We’d go back for the ambiance, but we’d choose the food differently and ask more questions.

Our table was a very high top, it was difficult to get up and then down. Sea bass was a little bland but the lamb chops were seasoned and perfect.

Went for Valentine’s Day with my family Had rib eye steak which was great but everything else was terrible. We ordered 2 ribeyes 3 pasta dishes and one vegetable dish.

En general fue una buena experiencia, solo que puse una nota en mi reserva que era el cumple de mi amigo e incluso se lo dije al server y no hicieron nada, esperaba que al menos lo felicitaran al final.

An absolutely appalling experience at the Setai Ocean Grill for our anniversary. I made a reservation specifically requesting a table with a view, but when we arrived, the only table available was pointed out by the receptionist, who coldly informed us that it was reserved for hotel guests. We were then seated at a table under the harsh, unbearable sun. When we asked if we could move to another available table in the shade, we were told it was impossible because it was meant for four people. After enduring 20 minutes of being ignored, with no waiter approaching or even offering us water, we voiced our concerns. To our shock, the hostess tossed the menu at us—literally threw it at us—with no words or apology, which was beyond rude. Still, no one came to take our order. And just a few minutes later, a couple was seated at the table for four that we had been denied, further proving the utter disregard for our request. We couldn’t tolerate the disrespect any longer and decided to leave. For such an upscale establishment, the lack of service and basic hospitality was beyond disappointing. It completely ruined our anniversary celebration. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
