During the low season (from July 23rd to October 13th), we operate with 2 service times: 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, and we close at 4:00 PM.

High season hours (starting October 15th) will be 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM, with closing time at 5:00 PM.

To make a reservation, the system requires a non-refundable prepayment of $120 pesos per person for round-trip boat transportation. This amount is not refundable in case of cancellations or no-shows. If you hike in or arrive by your own boat, this payment will serve as a deposit and will be deducted from your bill on the day of your visit.

By making a reservation, you acknowledge and accept our reservation policies. Please visit our website for more information.

Please note; our weather and waves can change on a moment's notice. We may have to cancel the water taxi and close the restaurant if the waves are too high. This only happens occasionally but if we do you will receive a text on the phone number you leave with open table.

Parking details
You can access Boca de Tomatlan by bus, Uber, or Taxi. We are 30 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta. Please go to the cement dock and our water taxi will pick you up 20 minutes before your reservation. Look for the boat with our shirts that say Ocean Grill.
Public transit
Take a bus in Basilio Badillo street in Zona Romántica. It will drop you in the highway and need to walk down to the pier. Cabs or Uber will drop you off at the dock directly

If you hike or get in own Yacht will be refunded in consumption the day of your visit. A novel experience being perched on the side of a cliff. Food excellent service great. Only negative is the washroom, if you need to use remember to pull the bar down indicating it is occupied, there is no door on it.

We had an amazing experience at this majestic restaurant in the beautiful bay of Banderas. The food was top-notch and our server Alejandro and the renowned chef Alex did an amazing job. Oh did I mention the spectacular and breathtaking views? We were also fortunate enough to see some whales breaching about in the near distance. When in Vallarta, this is a must visit.

What an awesome experience! Drinks: great Service: great Appetizers: great Main: jumbo shrimp, great Main: catch of the day, mahi mahi, great Felix the chef food prep and presentation was amazing. A Vallarta gem, don’t miss it!!

Everything about the Ocean Grill is amazing! We have been to the restaurant every time we have visited PV, which has been too many times to count, and it gets better every time. This has to be the most beautiful restaurant in PV. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff, and ambience as well. Got to be the best view from a restaurant in the area! Thank you Ocean Grill, for another amazing visit!!!

Stunning location on the water and a nice boat ride from Boca using the restaurants boat. The catch of the day ceviche was delicious. My wife had the catch of the day Mahi Mahi andvit was moust and delicate. So fresh. I loved the grilled octopus which was cooked to perfection. Hoghly recommended. Our first time but definitely not our last.

This is a unique dining experience! Just getting to the restaurant location is an adventure but well worth the effort. Food, staff and location keeps bringing me back. This was my 5th visit. People should not be intimidated by logistics of "getting there". We took a taxi (from the Sheraton) and left at 11:30 for the 1 PM seating. We arrived with enough time to have a beverage at a waterside restaurant and still make 12:45 water taxi. Check the website for current menu offerings. This is a cash only restaurant. There is no wifi/cell service.
