Located at 46 Penn Centre, adjacent to Kansas City's iconic Country Club Plaza, Ocean Prime is a nationally acclaimed, dynamic seafood & steakhouse from the award-winning Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. Ocean Prime delivers an elevated experience with exceptional ambiance, a chef-curated menu, signature handcrafted cocktails, Wine Spectator honored wine list and genuine hospitality. Reservations are recommended.

Ocean Prime strives to provide an elegant, fine dining atmosphere. Our associates’ priority is to ensure your experience is memorable. We ask that our guests choose attire that is both polished and suited to our restaurant.     Then Parmesan crusted chicken Caesar was dull , the checker not completely cooking some parts. My friends had the salmon and seafood salads and loved them. I should have stayed with fish. Service was very good. We had a quiet table so overall very good.

    The experience was GREAT! We were visited by the executive chef as we had ordered a chocolate milkshake, a part of their company culture. Cameron Mitchell has a great venue here in Kansas City.

    Front of house greeter was surly and unfriendly so I was worried. Our table side servers however were absolutely exceptional! My sea bass was heavenly, just perfect. I don’t drink alcohol anymore but still enjoy a well crafted drink and they did not disappoint here either. The chocolate torte was an actual sin, it was unbelievable. We will be back!

    Our experience at Ocean prime was excellent. Our server Jamison was an absolute gentleman and very knowledgeable of all the products offered by Ocean prime. You made our evening very special.

    Celebration dinner at Ocean Prime was wonderful. So many excellent items - tuna tartar, teriyaki salmon, filet, grouper, jalapeño au gratin and carrot cake were some of the highlights!
