Opening December 21, 2024, Ocean Prime is a nationally acclaimed, dynamic seafood & steakhouse from the award-winning Cameron Mitchell Restaurants located in the The Quay Sarasota. Ocean Prime delivers an elevated experience with exceptional ambiance, a chef-curated menu, signature handcrafted cocktails, Wine Spectator honored wine list and genuine hospitality. Reservations are recommended. Ocean Prime strives to provide an elegant, fine dining atmosphere. Our associates’ priority is to ensure your experience is memorable. We ask that our guests choose attire that is both polished and suited to our restaurant. THANK YOU FOR NOT WEARING: Clothing emitting excessive marijuana odor, excessively revealing clothing or exposed undergarments, or clothing with offensive language or graphics.     Lobster tails were overcooked and very salty. Crab cakes had very little crab. No apples to be found in the Granny Smith apple salad. No dressing. Asked for gluten free bread which never came.

    I took a date to meet some old friends, we actually showed up early expecting to have to wait in the bar. My friends got there a few minutes ahead of us and were already seated at the table. It was cool outside so we were inside. Service was impeccable, the lady that took care of us was very nice and friendly. Everything was prepared exactly as we wished. Nice wine list and the centennial grand mariner, was a really ice finish with the 10 layers cake.

    A++++++ for an overall experience. Our server Kristy was attentive, polished, professional and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and everything was perfect! Highly recommend checking it out.

    Highly anticipated but a bit overrated! Noise level was high and the presentation of the food was lackluster and not hot.

    Service and food were outstanding. Beautiful location. Only negative is the noise level in the downstairs dining room.

    I was very impressed at how smoothly everything went seeing that Ocean Prime just opened a couple of weeks ago. The Hamachi was incredible and the blacked snapper is the best I have had in years. Creative cocktails added to the experience. We will become frequent flyers to Ocean Prime.

    Ocean prime Srq delivers an impeccable fine dining experience that lives up to its reputation. The kitchen demonstrates masterful execution across both surf and turf offerings. The efficient staff enhances the overall experience without being intrusive. They strike that perfect balance between attentiveness and allowing diners ti enjoy their meal undisturbed . The desserts did not disappoint , from start to finish this is a dining experience that rises above the ordinary. Also dress to impress ….. it’s a beauty atmosphere. My new favorite restaurant in the Srq .
