Opening December 21, 2024, Ocean Prime is a nationally acclaimed, dynamic seafood & steakhouse from the award-winning Cameron Mitchell Restaurants located in the The Quay Sarasota. Ocean Prime delivers an elevated experience with exceptional ambiance, a chef-curated menu, signature handcrafted cocktails, Wine Spectator honored wine list and genuine hospitality. Reservations are recommended. Ocean Prime strives to provide an elegant, fine dining atmosphere. Our associates’ priority is to ensure your experience is memorable. We ask that our guests choose attire that is both polished and suited to our restaurant. Our waitress Becky was super sweet and efficient. All the staff, including at the bar were awesome. Our bartender even came to check on us after dinner. The wagyu steak was fantastic!

What a nice experience- from the Berries and Bubbles cocktail at the upstairs bar (thanks Leroy) to the comfortable booth for our five some. Joe and Max our waiters explained your dishes and specials, making it hard to choose our favorite. They were constantly close by checking on us. None of us were disappointed in our choices - from seafood to steak to the lobster linguine. The noise level was high, but it was a packed house on a Monday evening ☺️. Well done and good luck. Great experience. A couple of service bumps but nothing major. Would suggest the peppercorns in the grinder be ground a little finer as we all got them stuck in our throats. No issues

I had the seabass which was spectacular. Tyler our server very knowledgeable about offerings. Hot and dirty martini with olive oil really nice. Very nice vibe and food. It isn't cheap but quality outstanding

Beautiful new restaurant in the Quay. Multi-level, covered patio seating on both levels. Only second week opened so will give it some slack. The good news is the food we received was very good. The bad news is the service was somewhere between slow and bad. Way too many untrained waiters, mistakes on every order including a large confusion about what was gluten-free, very long wait times for appetizers. Its a pricey place and we hope they will get their act together. Opened with way too many tables. Would encourage them to curtail table counts until the staff and kitchen are ready. We will give it another try in a month or two.

As expected from Ocean Prime an outstanding dining experience! Impressed that the service in this very newly opened facility was seamless - the service was flawless and food delicious and beautifully plated.
