Oceans, a locally and globally inspired seafood restaurant, was founded by Vancouver’s award-winning Toptable Group with the philosophy of creating a timeless and approachable dining experience. Executive Chef Andy Kitko sets the vision for the menu inspired by the Pacific, Atlantic, and Mediterranean shores that will feature the freshest catches available all accented by seasonal ingredients.

    Located at the corner of Park Avenue South and 19th Street in the heart of Union Square, Oceans offers large group tables in our dining room on Sundays and Mondays that are perfect for your next gathering of friends, family, or colleagues for parties for up to 10 guests. Executive Chef Andy Kitko’s seasonally focused, seafood-forward menus feature exquisite tartares, premium chilled seafood, sushi, and signature fish entrees.     Came here for the valentines day special! A very lovely restaurant with great ambiance and vibes. The service was adequate (just enough attention and water consistently refilled so no real complaints there). We got the oyster with caviar as our additional starter (oysters were super fresh and caviar was creamy). Our first starter was the crab cake (excellently flavored and they were super generous with the crab!) and the rocketman roll (honestly surprisingly delicious with a great balance of flavors). For our main course I got the salmon (mistake on my part, while it was cooked perfectly the flavors were just not there for me) and my fiancee got the black cod (this was fantastic and also cooked to perfection). Everyone got the same dessert but it was pleasant and I have no complaints (the cheescake was definitely the star of the three small bight). The cost was a bit steep (final bill came out to be a little over $500 since we got the extra appetizer and cocktails). While not really worth it price point wise, I did enjoy almost everything and would still recommend people to come here for the non pre-fix menu!

    Incredible food, service in a beautiful setting. The Happy Hour Oysters and drink specials were awesome. All the fish was so fresh and awesome bourbon selections! Highly recommend Oceans when in NYC!

    They do everything well at Oceans. The seafood tower was a great way to start. The Dover Sole is one of the best dishes in town. And the Lobster Mac and Cheese was also great. Very gracious hosts, servers, and somm.
