Oda House Offers authentic Georgian cuisine and natural wines. A liberal use of spices, kebabs, khinkali (oversized meat-and-cheese dumplings), mtsvadi, khachapuri (Georgian cheese bread) and adjaruli (Cheese boat) typify the kitchen’s preparations. But, more classic dishes may reveal satsivi, or boiled chicken, served cool in a warmly spiced and seasoned walnut sauce, accompanied by gomi. Oda House uses mostly fresh and organic ingredients sourced from local farms. Menu has plenty of vegan and Gluten-free choices.
Maia Acquaviva, managing partner and executive Chef of Oda House, brings Georgian cuisine and a dose of Georgian culture and pride to NY. The passion she had from an early age to cook blossomed. Maia said, “Words cannot fully express how grateful I am for the opportunities that have been presented to me.” Her life motto is: If you want something with all your heart, the entire universe mobilizes around you to make your wishes come true!

Very nice dining experience. We ordered the chicken kebabs which were cooked to perfection!!! The service was very solicitous and the ambience was relaxing. Overall, a very pleasant atmosphere.

It was my first time trying Georgian cuisine and the food was amazing! The ambience was nice and I loved the paintings displayed on the wall! The service was great although it took a while for our drinks to come. The food suggestions were spot on!

I love the restaurant. I didn't know there was an Upper East Side location, but I was delighted to find it. The East Village location is much missed. The food and the staff were lovely -- I will be back soon.

Although we had never tasted Georgian cuisine, Maya, our server, patiently explained the selections and made some wonderful suggestions. Each dish exceeded our expectations. It was a friendly, warm and welcoming environment. We will definitely be back.

I’ve tried Georgian food in other cities and multiple restaurants in the city, and Oda House still has the best Georgian food out of every Georgian restaurant I’ve been to. My friend who has had the pleasure of traveling to Georgia also says this is the best Georgian restaurant outside of Georgia!

The male server could have been more attentive. He also had a hard time understanding English and got a few things wrong. The food was sub par this time.
