odo is a kaiseki speakeasy opened by Chef Hiroki Odo in New York’s Flatiron District. The 14-seat Chef's Counter restaurant serves a seasonally driven menu and is secretly hidden behind the all-day neighborhood eatery, HALL. Chef's counter menu changes on a monthly basis and all ingredients are sustainably sourced.

Please note that reservations at the lounge do not offer our Kaiseki Tasting Experience.
For the consideration of our other guests, children younger than 10 are not allowed at the Chef's Counter. Please note that all guests seated at the Chef's Counter must partake in the tasting course.
While we do our best to accommodate most allergies and dietary restrictions, we cannot accommodate vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free guests. We are also unable to accommodate guests who cannot consume seafood or seaweed.

    Our Seasonal Kaiseki Tasting for dinner is $265 per guest. Dinner reservations are available from Wednesday through Sunday. Seating starts at 6:00pm, with our last seating at 8:30pm. We look forward to welcoming you!

    Experience Chef Odo’s hidden lounge, focusing on Japanese whisky, spirits, and elevated bar fare. Please note that all odo Lounge reservations through OpenTable required a $50 pre-paid deposit. No- shows, reduction of party size, and cancellations made within 24 hours will not be refunded. Reservations can be transferred. Kindly note that all reservations at odo lounge are allotted a duration of two hours. Please be advised that odo lounge is exclusively accessible to patrons aged 18 and above.

    Not just the food, but the server makes me wanna come back sometime soon in the future. Love the vibe, beautiful touch of gastronomic dishes. Amazing combination of well organized micro size ingredients and great combination of every dishes. I want to try every different dishes that are served different every season! From the warm start to the house made chestnut ice cream and extra birthday cake engraved the perfect dining experience in my brain. If 5 stars are the maximum, I will give 10 star rate.

    The food and chef is stunning. Wonderful. Flavors are very unique and beautiful plates! The front desk could not find our booking for few minutes. And not as polite as other good restaurants that we visited. We were there early and it was raining outside, he did not even offer us to wait in the shop but just told us to go out and come back half hour later. The guest next to us asking about the Sake. The waiter said “this is very expensive. If you want, we can serve you by glass of 2 oz.” Hmmm, I hardly hear staff recommending their own product in term of “very expensive”. That’s something.

    On a very rainy evening, finding the restaurant was a bit challenging. After being I should through a series of doorways to the restaurant that I had selected past the maze of other restaurants with the same name we were us into the appropriate room our waiter introduced us to the most unusual selection of Japanese scotch That I had experienced before. We waited for our table and then was serve the most delicious and fresh Japanese dinner in a long time. I always test the sashimi dinner is in the restaurants that I go into and when the waiter told us that the fish was flown in overnight from Japan I could really taste the difference and what was missing and many of the restaurants I have formally thought were excellent, many of the dishes that we had that evening were tasteful delicious and very fulfilling noise was virtually nonexistent and the delight to be able to eat in a restaurant and speak to your partner. all in all, I would highly recommend this restaurant and it’s unique experience.
