Nestled in the heart of San Francisco’s Lakeside District, Ofena draws inspiration from family roots in the quaint sheep-herding village of the same name in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Chef Tim Humphrey proudly presents his ode to Italian cuisine in the form of an expertly crafted menu showcasing the bounty of California and emphasizing the flavors of Italy. Ofena takes modern Italian cuisine to the next level with a fresh, ingredient driven menu. Enjoy inventive craft cocktails in our fully stocked bar and satiate your pasta craving in our warm and intimate space.                                                           We sat at the bar and Michael was an awesome host! My girlfriends and I had a great first experience there and can’t wait to go back! Great low key local spot, awesome staff, delicious food and plenty of parking.

                                                          absolutely adorable delicious restaurant where portion sizes could be improved but every bite is delicious. Mushroom arancini was awesome. Eggplant half sandwich was delectable. Soup was comforting. Salad was refreshing. Food output was a bit slow on a Friday afternoon and service a bit… lacking though polite. Excellent lunch spot!
