Offshore is a bright and airy rooftop bar open year-round on the third floor at the East end of Navy Pier. With collapsable floor to ceiling windows you get sweeping views of Lake Michigan and Chicago’s city skyline. Our globally inspired menu features items from coast to coast that include light to substantial fares.

Outdoor seating is not guaranteed! It is on a first come first served basis.
21 years of age and older after 9pm daily.
The last reservation is one hour before closing.

Offshore offers several unique options for booking your next event for groups of 15-950. Guests have the opportunity to buy-out the 8,500 square foot indoor space, with curvy, custom brass whistle-shaped light fixtures, captain chairs, and oversized “playpens” made of a mashup of geometric cushions specifically designed for socializing. Guests can also opt to celebrate on the 20,000 square foot Terrace, where two private lawns act as a destination for group gaming, social and corporate events, weddings, and more paired with a completely unique perspective of the Chicago skyline not found anywhere else.

The dining room is quite large and open — we couldn’t see much in the way of views due to the reflection from the glass. We are sure this would be a better place to visit in the summer or during the day.

We hosted eight visitors from the Philippines here on a Tuesday afternoon. We were the only party in the restaurant at the time so it was quiet. The food was good and it arrived quickly, which was good since we were scheduled to go on a boat tour afterward. Sunlight streamed through the clear ceiling and we had a great view of the Chicago skyline as we ate.

Super cool experience with the lakefront view and the rooftop ambience. Food was great - especially the steak and eggs! The attendants are extremely kind and friendly.

We had a great time. Bottomless mimosas was a whole bottle to a person. The food was really good and plentiful. You can see both sides of the Chicago skyline with beautiful views of the water as well. The service was great. Samantha was our server and she was excellent.

Offshore is the only restaurant at Navy Pier offering vegan options. My plant based steak was delicious. My friend had pasta with salmon. Also delicious. Large portions too. Highly recommend this place.
