Welcome to Októ, where Mediterranean flavors and vibrant ambiance converge. Named after the Greek word for "eight," Októ offers an upbeat atmosphere with a jazzy bar featuring exclusive spirits. Our menu, crafted by Sof chefs Yotam Dolev and Hai Avnaim, showcases innovative, nutritious dishes inspired by Greece, Spain, and the Levant.

Guests can enjoy a seasonal selection of approximately a dozen shareable plates, reflecting the rich culinary traditions of the Mediterranean. Complementing the food, our bar serves a curated wine list and a range of classic and creative craft cocktails. Októ is designed for communal dining, making each visit a memorable celebration of Mediterranean cuisine and culture.

                                        One of my favorite dining experiences in Houston! Service was great, everything was timed perfectly. Food was fabulous. Highly recommend the octopus, hamachi crudo, filet, and Denver cut steak. Desserts were also delicious and inventive. Not a single thing we didn’t love! Can’t wait to return soon!

                                        Okto is a must-visit for food enthusiasts looking for an unforgettable dining experience. From start to finish, every aspect of our meal was exceptional. The drinks struck the perfect balance between tradition and creativity, offering a delightful twist on classic flavors. We started with the Greek salad and octopus appetizer—both fresh and perfectly executed. For our main courses, the filet mignon with foie gras and the tiger shrimp were nothing short of spectacular. Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. With friends visiting next month, we already have plans to return. Okto has truly earned a spot on our list of favorite restaurants!

                                        I can’t speak about the value, because it is more than just the cost of the food. You have to consider the decor, the quality of staff training etc. - Tristen was great. The kitchen was moving slow, but I chalk that up to the politics of the day. The octopus was excellent. We used our bread to sop up ALL of the beure blanc sauce on the prawn dish. The Lamb Chops lamb chopped!! A definite go.

                                        Food and service was amazing! Same group as Doris Meteopolitan and Hamza. The bread, octopus, and eggplant were stand out dishes. Will definitely be back. Only other feedback I have would be that the 2 person tables are a little on the smaller side so it makes fitting all the dishes and drinks on the table a little challenging

                                        Small, rocky tables. Server didn’t know what was in the Valentine’s Day specials or normal menu options. Silverware and tables felt cheap for how expensive the menu is. Had paper towel napkins. The menu implies elevated experience and food, but the service and ambience did not match. Noticed heat lamps in the kitchen for keeping food warm? Not sure if that should be present at an upscale restaurant. We left after our drinks and appetizers due to disappointment. Octopus was cooked well but served with what tasted like just spicy mayo. Mushroom ragout was good. Blue cheese olives delicious with martini. Missed the mark for us.

                                        Everything was okay but nothing stood out. Service was not great. Had to repeat order several times, they charged us the wrong bill, spilled water and it felt like they didn’t care. Too expensive for what it was.
