More chimichurri and/or more assertive flavors would really have made the dish pop. I was taking a medication and couldn’t drink and was feeling disappointed because they have such amazing wines and cocktails, but the team at Olive and Oak did not let me down. The blood orange NA cocktail with faux Campari they suggested was so good that I didn’t even miss the alcohol. And the NA rose wine and sparkling wine options I had never seen before. Plus they had great NA beers like Wellbeing too. If you are looking at their menu and thinking I don’t recognize some of the ingredients this might not be for me, take the leap and give it a try. Originally from Provence, Julien Fayard is one of Napa Valley’s most respected consulting winemakers producing California varietals with French finesse. Formerly of Chateau Lafite Rothschild, he lends two decades of winemaking expertise to more than a dozen different brands, including the highly-rated Covert and Nicholson Jones wines, as well as his own label—Julien Fayard Wines.
