We did not eat here. They closed the kitchen before we arrived although we had a confirmed reservation.

Friends meeting for their annual get together. Arrived early (start of Happy Hour). Ambiance was perfect to talk without yelling. Food was good if a little overpriced. Drinks could have been better.

We were delighted to discover a restaurant in Bethesda that serves dinner beyond 9:30. The service was great, starting with a warm welcome upon entering. The menu is extensive and the food was delicious. However, we did not understand that its description of "...a vibrant fusion of restaurant, lounge, and entertainment venue" means it becomes a dance club around 10:30 at which time conversation is nearly impossible. And that was not even on a night with live music. It would be a nice improvement if the dining tables could somehow be shielded from the lounge/entertainment area.

Everything about this place is a 10/10. Food and drinks are the best! Service is always top tier. Go if you haven’t!! Perfect for date night and a night out!

Ambiance is great. The jazz group was great and unexpected. Service was excellent. A bit pricey especially the drinks but the wine selection is excellent On the whole we will return and do recommend this venue. It is more than a restaurant

We came for my husband’s birthday on recommendation of a friend. We love Le Diplomate and were excited to check it out. I don’t think our waitress spoke English well. She couldn’t really make recommendations. She forgot to put in my entree and never came back. Everyone else at our table had finished their meals. I notified the hostess and the manager came over and brought soup and cake which was very nice, but I honestly just wanted the meal I ordered. It never arrived so we paid the bill and left. Everything we ate was delicious. Hopefully, they can work out the kinks on service.
