Located in historic downtown Kirkwood, One 19 North Tapas and Wine Bar is a unique dining experience with Spanish influenced tapas creations from Executive Chef, Sarah Hulme

One 19 North Tapas and Wine Bar opened in June of 2010 and is located in the heart of beautiful downtown Kirkwood. Since then, owner Pat Carr and his talented team have been serving quality interpretations of Global tapas dishes along with a perfectly a crafted selection of wines to enjoy.

A former co-worker recommended this place years ago & my BFF & & I have been dining here off & on ever since. The food is delicious. Love the ambiance of this quaint little place in the heart of Kirkwood.

OpenTable displayed reservations available at 4:00pm and 4:30pm, but then nothing until 7:30pm. As a result we jumped on the 4:30 time for our first visit. The thing is there were only four couples in the restaurant between 4:30pm and 6:00pm. When I checked OpenTable again at 5:30pm from my seat, the 6:00 to 7:30pm slots were now available. I’m not sure why OpenTable showed no reservations available online between 4:30 and 7:30pm earlier in the day. Strange. We would have chosen a later dining time. The wines were fabulous. The tapas Brussels sprouts, stuffed mushrooms, and bacon wrapped dates were delicious. The hummus was a little bland and needed some salt to kick it up a notch. The wait staff did their jobs well, but seemed aloof and rushed in a relatively empty dining room. Also, a bit strange. Overall good, but not the excellence I expect at an upscale tapas bar. We intend to try again in the near future.

We waited at our table for 15 minutes with no service. We left. There’s no excuse for that sort of negligent service. We usually love One19, and will be back, but get it together, folks.

We love this place ... and look forward to a window seat come winter. Wonderfully welcoming environment and Bryan is fantastic! Oh, by the way, really lovely cocktails, too.

Wine was $59. Same bottle for $22 at Costco or total wine. Tuna presentation was off. Sub standard pieces. Seemed to be end pieces with some fibers. Vegetables good mushrooms good.

One of our favorite restaurants. Very relaxing, excellent service, excellent food. Couple of glasses of wine and a couple of rounds of plates is a great way to celebrate on average Saturday night!

Another amazing evening at this restaurant! They had a pot pie soup special that was outstanding. The BBQ shrimp also fantastic, as was our server, Brian. Looking forward to another visit soon.
