Our story began in 1973 when Greek Chef Lefteris Lignos from Santorini, moved to Puerto Rico and established Zorba the Greek, the first Greek restaurant on the Island. In 2022, his son Alexander Lignos decided to bring back the culture and the hospitality that characterizes his father’s homeland and opened OPA! Greek Kouzina in Guaynabo and Condado in 2023.

The menu, a combination of traditional Greek dishes and new Greek culinary trends, was created hand in hand with Greek Chef Alexandros Kardassis, recognized as one of the “Top Ten Chefs of Athens” with five Michelin Great Food & Value awards, and the traditional Lignos family recipes. All of our dishes and desserts are prepared daily with only the finest ingredients to deliver the most authentic Greek flavor. Also, you can be delighted with a variety of exclusive Greek wines and beers.

The core of OPA! is our dedicated team which provides a unique combination of hospitality and tasteful experiences to transport you to Greece.

    Is too pricey, the food is ok and eventhough they had enough personnel it took them almost and hour to get us a salad and a steak.

    Very noisy in the restaurant. Had a large party of about 15 with four unruly kids. Echo in the room was very noticeable. The front door would slam shut any time someone came in or out. We left after sitting there for about ten minutes. The outdoor patio would have been fine but there were no tables available.

    The app sampler was good the braised lamb entre was dry, tough, stringy and tasteless, inedible should have been served in a bowl with lots of sauce, not just 1 or 2 tablespoons should use shoulder not leg, gyro meat was also dry and tough fries were fine, deserts were good, meal was way over the priced

    We arrived at 7 and got our food after 8. The restaurant was half empty and there were 3 cooks in the open kitchen so there was no excuse for the lengthy delay in getting our dinner. I had Mahi Mahi (should cook in no more than 10 minutes). Waitress disappeared for long periods. The worse service i have ever had. Skip this place.

    We had a horrible experience. We arrived on time for our 8 pm reservation. They acted like it was a problem that we showed up for our reservation. We waited 20 minutes to be told they might not be able to seat us. My husband ordered drinks from the bar and the bartender became angry when my husband asked after 20 minutes if they were ready. Then after waiting 30 minutes they said they needed to cancel our reservation because they ran out of pita.

    This restaurant looks like a casual takeout place but don't let looks fool you, it's quite good! Prices are a value, menu has great options, servers are working hard. We really enjoyed our apps, entrees, and desert. The lamb was delicious but everything was. Will return.
