We came with my friend to Aera to take some pictures and to dine in and one of waiter was really rude. After we finished dining we saw an open table and we thought that the clients left so we went there to take some pictures because that’s what we paid for and then the waiter came being sarcastic towards us in front of everybody and telling us and telling us to better stand up. That was really mean the waiter should learn to do his job instead of talking in that way to the clients otherwise not many clients will be staning that kind behaviour. Rude service, he should learn his manners.

It is a spectacular place but the waiters are busy with other things and are not attentive to the tables. The food is good but I waited 1 hour for steak and eggs ..

The best part is the view, truly spectacular! Food came out quickly and everything we asked for arrived. The only issue is that there wasn’t much offered, so we had to ask for salt and pepper, a coffee was brought with sugar but no spoon. Also no quality check was done midway. On a hot sunny day there wasn’t enough options for shade. I love the sun but Ideally it would be great to have enough options of both sun and shade. The only bathroom is by the front doors, so if you’re on the patio you have to go all the way downstairs and then across the restaurant back to the entrance. I didn’t appreciate having to go that far distance! The service staff seemed like they didn’t get enough training or attention to detail. I don’t blame them because it’s on O&B to provide that for them and adequately prepare them. Also there is no signage in the parking at The Well for Aera, it was our first time and it took us 10-15 minutes to figure out how to get from the parking lot to the restaurant. There is only one elevator to Aera and it’s a 10 minute walk from the parking lot at the from entrance of 8 Spadina. I think this needs to be communicated to guests who have reservations.

Very accommodating, beautiful rooftop and 38th-floor restaurant. Service was exceptional for was soooo delish and prices were reasonable for this type of restaurant, add to that the great music by the DJ and amazing atmosphere plus the views and you have a great night.

We had a great experience at Open Aera. The views, food and service were all exceptional. Our waiter Shay was very attentive and had great drink and food recommendations. We will be back :)

The food and drinks were super yummy. Our Server was super kind and accommodating and made me felt safe dining out as a Gluten intolerant person. Loved that.

Beautiful restaurant. Server was very nice just food and drinks took really long. Also disappointing smaller menu for the rooftop.

We went to celebrate our 10th Anniversary we experienced a below to very basic service nothing was done to make the 1 hour we stayed special - horrible service food was below par I would have had a better time at Joeys - we came looking for something special and energetic it was dead and the vibe was so boring the seats we were given were at the back of the restaurant right next to the kitchen on the rooftop no lighting at our table and the food took forever to come and the waiter smelled like BO - to say the least I do not recommend we headed up at Kost at the Bisha Hotel had an amazing time there instead!
