    I hate to write a negative review, especially when I had high hopes for a special evening, but unfortunately, my first visit to Opus Steakhouse was far from what I expected. We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation, and despite that, we were made to wait an additional 15-20 minutes before being seated… on a Tuesday. This set the tone for the rest of the evening. Once we were finally seated, we were initially greeted by our waiter, Marcus, who was polite, attentive, and communicative. He was a bright spot in an otherwise frustrating night. However, after a short time, we were switched to several other waiters throughout the evening, which made the service feel disjointed and left us feeling neglected at times. When our food did arrive, my skirt steak was charred and inedible (had about 3 bites). The general manager did come over to ask about our meal, and I appreciated that he wanted to address the issue. He offered us a nice dessert as a replacement for the ruined steak, which seemed like a good gesture. However, since we were on the prix-fixe menu, we didn’t get to choose the dessert we wanted. What was meant to be a celebratory evening turned into a series of frustrations. Slow service, a ruined meal, and a lack of flexibility in making it right left us disappointed. This was my first time at Opus, and I had hoped for a memorable experience, but this one will be hard to forget for all the wrong reasons.

    Our food (Porterhouse for two, mac and cheese, fries and chocolate cake) and drinks (Budweiser and moscato) were delicious, and our server (Aniah) was friendly and attentive. Love coming to Opus for special occasions - they always get it right!

    Henry and Philippe were fantastic, amazing service - attention and communication, they leave you salivating for the special menu additions like a high class luxury item sales, paying a little more there BUT absolutely worth it, classic case of when you will be happy to pay for the exceptional experience, worth every dollar
