Celebrating our 50th year, The Ore House continues as the area's longest dining tradition. The converted 110+ year old barn showcases Steamboat's ranching history while serving savory hand-cut Certified Angus Beef® steaks and chops, seafood, salad bar, and craft cocktails. All entrees include bread service, salad bar, and (2) side choices. An attentive staff will add to your evening as you enjoy the rustic atmosphere of this local gem. Available outdoor seating (seasonal), 3 open flame fireplaces (seasonal), bar seating at either of (2) bars, Private Dining options, and the ability to host events from 15 to 115 guests allows this iconic establishment to fulfill all your dining needs. And be sure to save room for dessert!

    This place was amazing. The food was so good and fresh and flavorful. The service was outstanding some of the best I’ve ever had Highly recommend here.

    We love The Ore House and it was the perfect place to have our dinner on Christmas. The food and service was amazing. Nate was very attentive considering how busy the restaurant was. Loved it!

    after a day of skiing, a nite of salad bar and prime rib is the perfect ending. fun atmosphere, great food and service, and accommodating to our changing plans. love this place!

    We were completely disappointed in our meal at the Ore House Friday evening . Definitely not upscale in my opinion. We dressed for dinner but would have been fine in our casual wear. Their salad bar was good but the food was definitely subpar. The NY strip and filet had no flavor. Added salt and pepper did not help. The House potato was not impressive. The prime rib was acceptable. This was my birthday dinner and I was very unimpressed. Will not

    Our server, Nate, was fantastic. The busser of tables also working overtime. Top notch from checkin to checkout. Loved the cabin like feel and homey feeling. I usually don’t eat bread, but eat the bread here. I skipped the included salad bar as we all had entrees with 2 sides included. The food is very good and the steaks are the star. We enjoyed the ore house filet and would order again. My only issue is paying $60 for a steak, but it seems that food prices are very stickily high. Overall, a lovely evening.

    The Ore House is a regular stop for us when visiting Steamboat. We ordered the Filet and Trout, and both were tasty (as always). The salad bar is a nice amenity, and the warm rolls are a treat. It's not an inexpensive dinner, but it isn't outrageously priced for a resort town like Steamboat.
