Oregano Italian Kitchen is an eatery in Provo, Utah that comes from Chad Pritchard, an award-winning chef. This is an Italian eatery that features New York style and other fantastic foods. The eatery has quickly become a popular option for the locals thanks to the great atmosphere and the delicious food. Oregano Italian Kitchen has some delicious appetizers including fried mozzarella, fried calamari, sweet potato fries and truffle fries. The eatery also makes some fantastic specialties, such as the chicken marsala, salmon, coconut mango shrimp, shrimp scampi and the blackened Cajun linguine. For dessert at Oregano Italian Kitchen, the tiramisu, dark chocolate mousse and the cannoli work well.

If you are looking for dollar store quality pasta cooked by a right wing lunatic who hates women and minorities this might be the place for you. If you hate equality and want to support hate then please come to this place, if not there are lots of other options in Provo and Orem!

I would not go back to Oregano again. Our server came across as though he was just going through the motions, and cold. Bread was brought to our table just before our meals were, and after sitting for a good 30 minutes or so at least. I ordered the blackened salmon with risotto. The salmon was decent, but nothing amazing. The risotto was under cooked, still crunchy and simply not palatable. When I brought this to the attention on the waiter, he simply said that he would let the chef know. There was no apology, no attempt at making it right, no word from the chef. Nothing. Given the amazing historic building and vibrant location, the overall meal was a huge let down.

Nice atmosphere. I got the Pistachio Crusted Chicken. For the price, I was really surprised by the small portions. I could have eaten it twice and been satisfied but not too full. It was delicious, but small, and the mashed potatoes and beans were cold on delivery. The pasta dishes I bought for two others in my party seemed like larger portions. The fourth person really loved their salad with salmon.

Oregano is a nice addition to the downtown Provo dining options. The food is good enough. Service is fine. Its a good place to take family and meet friends. Been there 3 times and nothing outstanding to really brag about, but no complaints either. It's an ok place to go,.

I enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. We were seated shortly after arrival even though it was New Years Eve and they were busy. I didn't care for the music but the food was very good, the server was pleasant and efficient. To our surprise we were given an additional meal to take home with us when we left, this significantly increased the value of the meal and let us experience some of the foods we had not yet tries. I agree with others who have commented on the bench seating. It sits so much higher than the chairs on the other side of the table that it was a little awkward. All in all, I would gladly return to dine here again.

Food tasted good, not excellent. The price was way too high for the quality of the food. The table we were seated on was super wobbly and the ambiance was not very romantic. The music being played in the resteraunt was not conductive to a romantic evening. I got the Italian feast which included a take home cold portion. The noodles were dry and hard, needless to say, they got trashed as soon as we got home. I brought my wife for her birthday and was hoping for a romantic dinner, but all I ended up with was disappointment.

I attended the 6 course event that Oregano Italian Kitchen held and enjoyed it a lot. My mother and I consider ourselves foodies and had a great experience. The food from chef Box was by far the best food we had. It was exciting to see what came from the different chefs. The food was great but the service wasn't the best. We were served by very young kids. We had to stop people a few times to ask for items. We also thought the timing was off. Between some courses we would wait 20 - 30 minutes and another time they brought the next course before we had finished the last. These are all things that come with a new restaurant and I am confident they will work them out. This restaurant has fabulous potential. Oh they also didn't have any adult beverages which was a downer for us. Overall great place with a lot of potential.

Everything was almost good: food was okay, service was okay, ambiance was okay, noise was okay. If invited I'll go again, but won't recommend it for the time being. My chicken parmegiana was overcooked, and the take-home spaghetti and meatballs was off after a day in the fridge. The service was friendly but slow. The ambiance was a dichotomy between nice-ish and casual, but clashing rather than blending together well. The noise wasn't too bad, but our table was so close to our neighbors' that conversation wasn't private.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the restaurant itself, the food and the service. We went on a Wednesday evening at about 8:00, and we were one of three couples in the entire restaurant. It was almost completely empty, which was nice for noise level, since I was able to talk to my girlfriend without a raised voice. Our waitress was very attentive, which was, in part, due to the fact that there were only six people in the entire restaurant, but we were still very pleased with the service. The food was excellent too, and though a little pricey, it all just added up to a very nice evening. Our one 'complaint,' for lack of a better word, is that the music choice was a little out of context. We didn't particularly enjoy the rock music being played in an Italian restaurant, but hey, maybe some people are into that!
