   This restaurant is absolutely breathtaking, as soon as you step out of the elevator into the restaurant you’re met with the most amazing view. The entire restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and the food was perfect in every way! Highly recommend

   Sunday roast was delicious but had to ask for extra gravy and could have done with being a bit thicker in consistency.

   We waited 55 minutes for our starters, chased for our first drink and had to ask for the menu. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy but the service was less than impressive. We were given the starters for free which was some consolation. The food itself was ok just not particularly exciting or anything out of the ordinary. For the cost, there are many better restaurants in Birmingham although the view is still worth at least one visit.

   This was my 1st visit to Orelle. The restaurant is beautiful & the views across the city are impressive. The staff were wonderful & very attentive. The food was presented well & was very enjoyable. The ham hock terrine was divine. For our mains, I had the salmon & my friend had the pork cutlets. My only criticism was the service charge. I felt that for the 2 of us during a quiet lunch sitting, that £20.67 was excessive. Orelles doesn't have a Michelin star. I accept that the views are a contributing factor but, I've paid less at other fine dining establishments in the city.

   The food was very good. The service variable. The starters arrived far too soon as we still had our aperitif and olives. We therefore asked for main course to wait awhile, which was fine. General service was good, always polite and helpful.

    Overall, I was extremely impressed with both the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. In particular, the sommelier and host were both delightful and contributed positively to our experience. The only area where I feel there could be improvement relates to the disruption caused by a group of Instagrammers during our visit. They were moving around the restaurant with a cake, taking pictures at various tables, which we found a bit distracting. Aside from this minor issue, we had a lovely evening and I would definitely visit again.
