Original Joe’s is the oldest of all existing Joe’s restaurants in the country and is the innovator of what is now nationally known as the “Joe’s Concept”. Super super noisy but fun. Older friends, turn your hearing aids down or your brain will have a blow out! Great atmosphere. Lasagna was delicious, side of ravioli was blah.. the prime rib dip was good, meat was perfectly cooked and soft but the “ dip” needed a more intense depth of beef flavor.. the Caesar salad was fresh, crisp, perfect. Wait service was superior. Limoncello Spritzer was spot on and refreshing.

One of my favorite meals is the prime rib dip but they’ve changed the bread to a type of ciabatta that changes the overall flavor of what was a fabulous sandwich for a great price.

Great food! Great place to meet up with friends, birthdays, etc. Service was great. Excellent New York strip and porterhouse! Often go to The Foreign Cinena but this an excellent alternative and great area to have drinks and walk around after. Taking Waymo makes it breeze to get there from any part of the city.

Celebrating our 30th anniversary. Because of work, made a later reservation. Fortunately (we thought) we arrive an hour and 45 mins early. When checking in Letsie (rude) said she would try to seat us early. While waiting, saw walk-ins getting seated before us. It appears they have two lists: reservation and walk-in. One would assume when you check in you would be added to the overall waiting list. Not the case, so if you have a reservation and arrive early, make sure you are on both lists and not wait 2 hrs. The wait and rude hostess made our 30th anniversary miserable.
